Indonesian artist Elicia Elidanto creates very delicate watercolor paintings which show us the connection between children and wild animals. Even if this might sound strange, Elicia Elidanto has found a way to show the relationship between these two and show how connected we all really are with nature and the wild. Her black and white watercolors of children with wild animals show us the amazing silhouettes of small, innocent children right in front of dangerous and majestic creatures. The connection appears right after an animal realizes how harmless and innocent children are.
Children are curious, but they mean no harm. Animals can feel that.
Children do not feel the danger because we are naturally born to connect with the nature.
Wild animals stop being as ‘wild’ when a children gets close to them.
Animals and children easily get along, because they are not toxic, they are true and innocent.
Because children are here to be loved and protected.
Each animal has their own children, their instinct leads them and makes them a great protector to a child.
