Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty is a criminal mastermind capable of hoodwinking conning the Galactic Federation, the Citadel of Ricks, and the U.S. government, but he finally found a government agency he couldn’t avoid.
The Rickmobile, a traveling merch truck featuring a crouching (and drooling) Rick to stare down drivers behind it, has toured across the U.S. since May. It’s attracted fans all over the country who have flocked to the Rickmobile to purchase Rick and Morty merchandise and pose with the unique vehicle, which most recently stopped in Knoxville, Tennessee.
At some point along the way, however, the Rickmobile missed skipped out on a $4 toll, catching the eye of the Delaware Department of Transportation. On Oct. 2, the Rickmobile passed through Delaware, which was shortly after its stop in Jacksonville, Florida, and days before its stop in Jersey City, New Jersey.
It’s the kind of thing you might forget about until you receive a notice in the mail two months later, as is the case with whomever the Rickmobile is registered to. Normally, a notice of toll evasion is barely news, and it might have even been an accident. What really sells this, along with the Rickmobile’s apology, is the proof of the infraction.

Having been caught Rick-handed, Rick would’ve probably tried to get out of it or taken it to a ridiculous trial. The car, however, probably just sucked it up and paid it. The Rickmobile is such a Morty.
